Brandon Bass took over in the third quarter, outscoring the Sixers 18-16, of Game 5 and helped the Celtics win 101-85 Monday night at TD Garden. Bass’ playoff career- high 27 points lifted the C’s to a 3-2 series lead.
This game was a character builder for us. We were down tonight and we fought back as a group starting on the defensive end, rebounding, and we rode ‘The Truth’s’ back.
